Clayton: Hey everyone, Clayton here at etrailer.com. And today I'll be taking a look at, and I'll show you how to install a PTC engine air filter on our 2016 Kia Sorento. Our engine air filter filters that air coming through our air box into our engine. Now, over time, these filters get built up and that build up on the filter, just causes our engine to work a little bit harder. So changing this routinely gets cleaner air to our engine and it doesn't have to work as hard long-term.Like I said, this should be changed routinely. I personally change mine every oil change, just to make sure that my engine doesn't have to work any harder than it already is. more

I'll be showing you how to install an engine air filter by PTC.Our filter is going to be a pleated white media particulate. What these pleats do is they trap any dirt and debris coming through our air box into our engine. Our filter is also going to have a nice silicone lining around the outside, and this makes sure that no air is missing the filter.So our engine air filter, it's going to filter that air coming into our engine. It's going to make our engine run a lot cleaner and not put more stress on the motor than we have to. more
